Summary:

This project was completed for an edible oil company. NEMX dug into a large bean transfer system to find the drag conveyor diverter chute to be in serious need of rebuilding. With client approval, NEMX jumped into action to structurally rebuild the chute and line it with weld in tile liner.

The Challenge:

The divert chute was 60’ from grade, underneath a large elevator chute and “rust” sealed to the drag conveyor.

Why the client chose NEMX:

NEMX was chosen due to price, ability, reputation within the industry and timeline plan.

How NEMX Responded:

NEMX pivoted from a simple replacement to a full rebuild without hesitation. We sourced parts, labor and carved out time in our schedule to get the project completed in record turnaround time.

The Results:

The client was very pleased. NEMX delivered a full chute rebuild that exceeded expectations.

NEMX and this client have had a meaningful flourishing relationship built on trust and integrity.

Summary:

This was a very interesting project for everyone involved. The Upsetter machine is a machine that is used in the forging process for hydro electric parts found on poles and towers. This machine is from the turn of the century and represented many logistical challenges. From new safety standards to parts sourcing, NEMX addressed each issue and delivered a better than new machine for a fraction of the price of a new unit.

The Challenge:

The Upsetter is a turn of the century item and built like a tank. This machine has serviced the forging client year over year for its entire lifetime. After pricing a new unit, it was deemed worthwhile to rebuild the tank. The challenge of this rebuild was to source parts, machining of the mechanical bearings from scratch to specification, installation of a lubrication system, engineering a new machine base as well as a die changing monorail and integrating safety systems so the machine would be brought into this century of safety standards.

Why this forging client chose NEMX:

NEMX was chosen due to price, ability, reputation within the industry and timeline plan.

How NEMX Responded:

NEMX planned and executed the rebuild safely and in a good timeframe considering the challenges this project presented. Each step of the way the client was with us while we battled forward to deliver the desired outcome and ended up incorporating the rebuilt unit into a state of the art fully automated system.

The Results:

The forging client was very pleased. NEMX delivered a full turnkey solution to the client on a project that was very challenging.

NEMX and this forging client have had a meaningful flourishing relationship built on trust and integrity.
